Well boi’s it’s the dog days of summer again, so I thought why not get everybody a little hot and bothered. While I have no problem heading into the 2023/24 season and repeating with this championship squad intact, I’m also thinking about a possible rebuild on the fly. If you’re a team in the hunt these players below could be the missing piece or pieces.
Vladimir Tarasenko
I couldn’t be happier with todays news of Tank landing in Ottawa. He’ll now be in the best possible spot for success, on that top line with Brady and Timmy. I expect a monster season with his one year prove it deal. He’s officially on the block.
Brad Marchand
The news of Bergy’s retirement, while sad to see him go, puts Marchy right back where he should be, alongside his pal Pasta. I think we’ll see him at or near that 100pts grunt that we’ve all come to know and love. Inquire within.
Jared Spurgeon
After a somewhat disappointing season for the Wild I think we’ll see a nice progression in 2023/24 from this up and coming roster. And as their top dman and captain, you can bet o’l Spurg will be right around his usual 40pts Steady Eddy self. Don’t miss out on shoring up your D.
While these are the three most likely studs I’ll be moving, I’m open to dealing anyone. If the price is right. It’s no secret that this Scorps team is loaded with clutch playoff performers, so if you’re interested in someone on our roster, do not hesitate to give me a shout.
