While prying the likes of a Barkov or Robertson from this team would be costly, everyone’s got a price, right? Same goes for the likes of McAvoy and Addison. I consider these four the core I’ll be building around moving forward and while the likelihood of acquiring these guys is low, if the right package was offered it could happen.

BRAD MARCHAND
Steady 100pts monster, no sales pitch needed. Any team competing at the top that adds Marchy would catapult into one of the WG/SC favs.

JOE PAVELSKI
Showing no signs of slowing down, Joe will once again be saddled up on the top line with the Dallas Duo and leading the charge on the PP1. A repeat of 2021/22 and a PPG season is highly likely considering the young talent he plays with.

VLADIMIR TARASENKO
With a full season behind him following shoulder surgery Tank has silenced any doubters that he’s back and back healthy. In fact he did them all one better with a career high 82pts in only 75 contests.

CONOR GARLAND
After a disappointing season for this talented young kid, 52pts in 77 games, I’m expecting a rebound year with better usage of his talents. Always buzzing around the net and creating space I can easily see this guy reaching 70pts if given the proper opportunity. The best is yet to come and I think we’re about to see it in 2022/23.

RYAN JOHANSEN
A solid 2021/22 campaign had RyJo centering the top line with Filp Forsberg and Matty Duchene and the PP1. I expect we’ll see a similar performance from him as he’s now in the prime of his career.

JARED SPURGEON
The captain of a great and talented young Wild squad put up 40pts in only 65 games. Playing top pairing minutes and QB’ing a Kaprizov lead PP1 a 50+ pts season isn’t out of the question.
