Don't foresee anything happening with my protects prior to Oct. 6, so I'll cut that out.

I'll cut out the fluff even further knowing Krejci is gone back home and Staal and Dellandrea will illicit nothing.

So that leaves:

Tuukka Rask -- Yes, he is injured. No, he did not retire. He aims to be back in January. Will he, and if so, to what capability? Who knows. But if you have a protect spot to use on a guy you can stash and perhaps think you can parlay it into a better asset if he indeed comes back, he'd come cheap.

Alex Goligoski -- 36 years old. New team with offensive options in front of him. One year left on his deal. We know the situation. Is he a better option than some guys in this year's draft and a viable option for a cheap price? Totally up to you.

2021 Picks -- 60, 61 and 80.
2022 Picks -- 1st, 3rd and 4th (all mine)

That being said, I could use another depth forward. Not looking to go big and burn up another high pick. But close to Oct. 6, if you'd rather get something than nothing for a reasonable drop, let me know who's available and for what price.
