Players Currently on the block
Jordan Eberle - He had such a great start to his career (51 pt pace rookie year, 76, 64 pt pace short year, 65, 63), I thought he was going to be a reliable 65-70 point guy with ease every year. What happened?.....Who cares!
His first year on Long Island (3 seasons ago) he pulled out 60 points.
2nd year he hit a brick wall and finished with 37 in 78, BUT came alive in the playoffs with 9 pts (4 goals, 5 apples) in 8 games.
Last year a 56 point pace.
At 30 years old, he's got plenty of fuel in the tank and i have no prplem saying hes a 55 point guy with potential to hit 60-65 as Trotz surprisingly loves him and Ebs shares plenty of ice with Barzal and that won't change. Barzal is going to have a monster year.
I want a solid pick in 2021 for J Dogg.
Ryan Johansen - out of his last 7 seasons, Ryjo has finished under 60 points only twice. Last year was a disaster for Red Cheeks, but he has 64 the year before. Kids can play. He's more of a pussy than he is a tough guy, but he can control the puck and has become a clear pass first guy now. If he decides to ever shoot the opuck again, he'll get back up to 70-75. Having said that, he also came alive in the playoffs, albeit a short playoffs he had 5 points in 4 games.
This guy just turned 28 and already has 10 seasons on his resume already. He also has lots of life left and will remain a top 6, PP1 guy for years to come. Lot's of value here.
I'm thinking solid pick(s) or possibly and young promising prospect.
